The Fresh Fish Shop in
Haywards Heath was
established over 30 years
ago providing the local
community with quality,
fresh fish daily. Some two
years ago, Sebastian
Candelon took over the
business and completely
refurbished it. He has
dramatically increased the
fish selection and improved
quality. Sebastian has
introduced some great daily
specials and the shop is now
open longer hours.
Network Seafoods Ltd run by
Peter Ellis, an ex-trawler
captain, has traded out of
Newhaven for 25 years. His
company comes with the
highest stamp of approval
from the Food Standards
Agency. The Pure Oyster
Company provide us with an
array of fish from the South
Coast. The company was
founded by Jane Tabor in
1907 and is still run by the
Tabor family based at Pease
Pottage, West Sussex.
Robert Edwards Butcher is
a family business, passed
from father to son, and
established over 60 years.
They supply us with high
quality beef, pork, South
Downs lamb and free range
chicken sourced from farms
around the Sussex / Surrey
borders.
Bowders Game Shop,
Balcombe, owned and run
by Joyce and John Lewis,
provide us with a fantastic
range of game.
We use two suppliers for
our fresh vegetables and
salads – regular supplies
are delivered daily from the
Personal Catering Company.
With some of our more
exotic fruit and veg sourced
by Mark James, who is
based in Tilgate, from the
famous Covent Garden
Market.
High Weald Dairy produce
fantastic hand-made Sussex
cheese.
Downland Dairies, Myrhe
Grove Farm, West Sussex,
supply our milk and some
cheese.
The Cheeseman - Fred &
Tony Cowling, a father and
son run business from
Hove, have been supplying
quality award winning
cheese for 45 years.
They supply cheese from
Bookham cheese
Downsview Farmhouse, a
family run business owned
by John Farnes, started
with a milk round over 50
years ago. They supply us
with the highest quality ice
creams produced from the
rich milk from their very
own herd of dairy cows.
Fellows of Ardingly supply
all of our breads. The
company is by run by David
Bunn (Master Baker) and
his family, who have been
baking high class breads
